This site is a personal project — no ad network, no reselling of data. This page describes exactly what is collected, why, for how long, and how to act on it. It complements the legal notice.

The site records the pages viewed, the referring page the browser provides (if any), and a handful of interactions (opening the assistant, clicking an outbound link, sharing, exporting the résumé). These events are tied to:
localStorage), which carries no personal information and only links the pages viewed within one visit;No cross-site matching, no advertising identifier, no sale or sharing of this data. This measurement is designed to stay strictly statistical, in line with the French data protection authority's (CNIL) criteria for audience-measurement tools exempt from consent — so it does not ask for a consent banner. This data is kept for 180 days by default, then deleted automatically.
Messages exchanged with the site's AI assistant — your questions, its answers, the tools it used to answer, and the pages it cited — are logged, tied to the same IP fingerprint, user agent and anonymous identifier as above. This is used to check that the assistant answers correctly and to diagnose its mistakes.
Before anything is stored, the text is automatically truncated past 4,000 characters, and anything that looks like an email address, a phone number, or a card number is replaced with a generic placeholder. That said, do not write anything in this chat you would not want kept — it is not a confidential channel. These exchanges are kept for 365 days by default, then deleted automatically.
While you are chatting, the thread is also held briefly in the browser (sessionStorage), only so it survives a page refresh; it disappears when the tab closes and is never sent anywhere except through your own messages.
To generate a reply, your message is sent to the language model behind the assistant, through a model router (OpenRouter). That provider, and whichever underlying model provider it selects, may be located outside the European Union. Check with OpenRouter directly if the safeguards around that transfer matter to you.
Under the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection over data concerning you. Write to mathislambert.dev@gmail.com — for a request about the assistant, give as precise a date and approximate content as you can; that is the only way to locate it, since no account ties it to your identity.
You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, France's data protection authority.
