This site is a personal project — no ad network, no reselling of data. This page describes exactly what is collected, why, for how long, and how to act on it. It complements the legal notice.

This site uses Umami, hosted on the publisher's own server, to measure public page views, referring pages, and interactions such as opening the assistant, following project links, sharing content, and exporting the résumé. Page URLs may include campaign parameters. Browser, language and screen information help describe visits.
Umami uses technical session identifiers calculated on the server. The site does not create a persistent analytics identifier in your browser or use analytics cookies. Admin pages and editorial previews are excluded, and chat messages are never sent to Umami. The tracker respects the browser's Do Not Track setting.
These statistics are not used for advertising or to match visitors across websites. They remain on the publisher's server until deleted by the publisher; there is currently no automatic retention period for Umami data.
Messages exchanged with the site's AI assistant — your questions, its answers, the tools it used to answer, and the pages it cited — are logged separately from Umami, with a salted IP fingerprint, user agent and conversation identifier. This is used to check that the assistant answers correctly and to diagnose its mistakes.
Before anything is stored, the text is automatically truncated past 4,000 characters, and anything that looks like an email address, a phone number, or a card number is replaced with a generic placeholder. That said, do not write anything in this chat you would not want kept — it is not a confidential channel. These exchanges are kept for 365 days by default, then deleted automatically.
While you are chatting, the thread is also held briefly in the browser (sessionStorage), only so it survives a page refresh; it disappears when the tab closes and is never sent anywhere except through your own messages.
To generate a reply, your message is sent to the language model behind the assistant, through a model router (OpenRouter). That provider, and whichever underlying model provider it selects, may be located outside the European Union. Check with OpenRouter directly if the safeguards around that transfer matter to you.
Under the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection over data concerning you. Write to mathislambert.dev@gmail.com — for a request about the assistant, give as precise a date and approximate content as you can; that is the only way to locate it, since no account ties it to your identity.
You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, France's data protection authority.
